While attaching lottie animation to your webpages with the “WCF Lottie” widget, a common SSL issue may arise. As a result, the lottie animation won’t run smoothly on the pages. The issue is not serious. You can fix it with ease.
To do so, you can go back to the “Media Library” where you have imported the lottie media file. Click over the file and copy the file URL that is located next to the “File URL” field.
On the “WCF Lottie” widget, choose “External URL” from the “Source” option. Then paste the previously copied file URL into the field below the “External URL” option.
If your website has an SSL certificate, simply add an “s” to make the URL format “https”. But if your website doesn’t contain any SSL certificate, there is no need to convert the link to “https” format.
Configure the link settings, hit the “Update” button and get the issue solved.
